Model & Serial Number Example

What should the factory model and serial number look like?

Our current factory model and serial numbers are each 11 characters in length. A character could be a number, dash, or a letter.

Example MODEL NUMBER:  13WX78KS011
       Note: The first 2 characters of the Model Number identify the product category (see table below).

 * Attachments may also begin with the letters OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture).
Example:
190-620-000 is a dozer blade attachment for a tractor.
OEM-190-620 is the same dozer blade packaged for individual retail sale.

Example SERIAL NUMBER: 1L080B50230
The second, third, fourth and fifth characters of the Serial Number indicate the date of manufacture.
In this case, it is December 8, 2000 or 2010.
• L - Month ( December; L is the 12th letter of the alphabet )
• 08 - Day
• 0 - Year ( Last digit of a particular year; zero indicates 2000, 2010, etc... )
